Masons Unite To Celebrate Masonic Homes Kentucky’s 100th Anniversary of its Louisville Campus

Masonic Homes Kentucky Louisville Campus 100th Year AnniversaryLouisville, KY (Nov. 4, 2025) — Masonic Homes Kentucky’s history is bonded by significant life-changing memories, momentous milestones, groundbreakings, heartfelt stories and the enduring support of Kentucky Freemasons.

This year, we celebrated another significant moment in Masonic Homes Kentucky’s history – the centennial anniversary of its Louisville Campus and the dedication of a commemorative monument and time capsules.

On October 20, exactly 100 years from the day Kentucky Masons gathered to dedicate the Louisville Campus, more than 400 Masons and their loved ones joined together to honor Masonic Homes Kentucky’s flagship location.

The Grand Lodge of Kentucky F.&A.M.’s Grand Line performed a time-honored Masonic dedication of the monument which supports the beloved “A Place Called Home” bronze statue depicting a widow and her orphaned children being welcomed by the open arms of a Mason. The statue, a gift from the Masonic Homes Alumni Association, is flanked by two time capsules that hold memories from the past 100 years.

“It is a profound privilege to celebrate the Louisville Campus’s 100th anniversary—a place that has shaped my own life and impacted the lives of countless others since its inception in 1925,” said Chief Executive Officer J Scott Judy. “Now, for all time, those who visit our community and call it home will have a reminder of the significance of this day and its events.”

The monument and time capsules were made possible by the generosity of donors including:

  • Alumni Bill and Betty Easterling
  • Grand Lodge of Kentucky F.&A.M.
  • Masonic Homes Kentucky’s Chief Executive Officer J Scott Judy and Tricia Judy
  • Masonic Home Alumni Association
  • Nancy S. Judy in memory of Board Member Emeritus James S. Judy
  • Louisville Scottish Rite Consistory
  • Trinity Lodge No. 163 F.&A.M.
  • Willis Stewart Lodge No. 224 F.&A.M.

As part of the centennial celebration, many Lodges contributed a commemorative pin or coin reflecting their history and connection to Masonic Homes Kentucky. The time capsules were interred for commemoration no sooner than Oct. 20, 2125.
